For all SELA Orleans work ongoing whether in the design phase or in the construction phase, the following will be the breakdown of responsibilities:

• The S&WB will:
  • Complete the project design
  • Complete design changes during construction
  • Provide community information concerning the projects
  • Respond to the community’s questions regarding the projects
    
    
• The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as the Federal representative, will:
  
  • Obtain permits for affected utility companies
  • Award the construction contact
  • Administer the construction contract
  • Inspect the construction work
